Le Bayit, housing readiness program in a duplex for people with low to moderate support needs, slated to open Fall 2026: Applications now being accepted. For more information, contact info@alinkfoundation. Over the past few years, we’ve been working with public and private partners to develop a life skills training program in a real life environment to foster independence. By offering young adults the chance to sleep away from home on a regular basis, the program helps participants prepare to move away from the family home while also providing respite. Supportive Housing: in development We’re also working with public and private partners to develop new inclusive housing opportunities for adults with low to moderate support needs–groups of adults renting apartments in buildings open to everybody and sharing support staff supervised by Alink. We call our model PODS™–or Planned Opportunities for Development and Support. Our first POD, a partnership with the CIUSSS West-Central Montreal, launched in January 2026. Called The Arlene Fels Housing POD to honour a major donor, it includes four young adults renting apartments on the same floor of a building and sharing our educators 35 hours/week. We have more PODS™ in development for 2027-2028. For more information or to get on our housing waitlist, contact us at .
