The challenge: Once young adults age out of the school system, families often don’t know where to turn to find information about resources, programs and other services.
The solution: Alink’s Resources page guides families through the process of accessing social services. Alink also runs a Facebook page, sends out newsletters and provides speakers to keep families informed about resources and activities. Alink is working with a group of organizations, both public and private, to create a peer-to-peer family support team.
